Challenge: Sundyne corporate product launches and updates had become ineffective and all but invisible due to a lack of strategic planning and tactical deployment process.
Solution: Collaboration was enhanced between sales, marketing, engineering and product marketing to establish launch process guidelines. Supporting promotional activities and stronger subject matter contribution was planned for. A robust web platform was built to serve highly valuable and relevant product-related content. Product life-cycle calendars were maintained, annually. (Of special note was development of an integrated web tool where the user inputs performance data requirements and Sundyne outputs a recommended product solution.)
Result: Global stakeholders quickly located and evaluated product information and eventually purchased a broad range of Sundyne offerings. Valuable content served within a standardized tabular infrastructure by categories (Overview, Description, Features/Benefits, Technical, Resources) continues to deliver a sustainable competitive advantage. |
